Brendan Penny is an actor with an extensive list of television and film credits, known for his co- lead role on Hallmark Channel’s family drama CHESAPEAKE SHORES, which aired for 6 seasons. His recent credits include the Hallmark Channel original movies FAMILY PRACTICE MYSTERIES: COMING HOME, LOVE ON THE DANUBE: KISSING STARS, THE WEDDING COTTAGE, IN MERRY MEASURE, and starred in the anthology of Vineyard movies opposite Rachael Leigh Cook. For Hallmark Mystery, he starred in TIME FOR THEM TO COME HOME FOR CHRISTMAS and A LITTLE CHRISTMAS CHARM (for which he received a 2021 Leo nomination). Outside of the Hallmark world, Penny heavily recurred on the BH90210 remake as Jennie Garth’s love interest. Prior to that, he was a series lead in all four seasons of the award- winning CTV/ABC crime drama MOTIVE, from the producers of DEXTER and THE MENTALIST.
